I've hesitated to add more personal things to my blog for a while. But today I went to a Women of Faith conference and wept as the speakers poured out their hurts and sorrows, and rejoiced with them over the grace of God in their lives. And I realized that I'm being selfish by keeping the story God has given me hidden away.
At some point I will write more about myself - some fun and goofy things along with the serious things. But for now I'll just tell you this...
On November 25, 2010 my husband received a heart transplant after suffering with heart failure for 4 years. I am so thankful for the gift God gave us at a second chance at life. If you'd like to read more about our journey, go here.
On a lighter note...
I LOVE... my husband, books, all animals but especially horses, my family, autumn, my job, belly laughs, seeing pregnant ladies, pixar movies, Dr Quinn Medicine Woman, helping young women mature in their faith, college students, Virginia, nachos, good doctors, making a baby smile, caramel popcorn, bike rides, long walks, snuggling up on the couch and watching a good movie, holding newborns, a good cry, Pennsylvania, my parents for blessing me by their good marriage and strong faith, crafts, sitting on the floor, slip-on shoes, a good pair of jeans, skirts, my kitty, Mason Cru, how small things are (almost) always adorable....
